The liquid to be cleaned reaches the filter insert of the composite tank system through the inlet distributor and is sucked through the upper and/or lower slotted screen inserts of the suction box and pumped into the clean tank by means of a vacuum pump.
The contamination contained in the liquid settles at the slotted screens and are automatically cleaned by the scraper equipment. The contamination removed by sedimentation is scraped out over the entire tank bottom and dried and removed on and/or via the removal slope. The operation of the vacuum pump is controlled using the level switch and the slotted screen box is monitored by an underpressure switch. The machine is supplied via separate high- or low-pressure pumps from the clean tank.
